An Evidence-Based Approach to Finding Work

HERO House Everett uses Individual Placement and Support (IPS), the most widely researched model of supported employment for adults living with mental illness.

IPS focuses on:

  • Competitive jobs in the community, at real workplaces and real wages

  • Rapid job search, starting when you're ready, not after months of preparation

  • Benefits planning, so you understand how work affects your benefits

  • Support with no time limit, for as long as you want and need it

Working with DVR

HERO House Everett is a DVR-approved Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP), so we can partner with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation to support your employment and education goals. We've worked with Snohomish County DVR offices in Arlington, Everett, and Lynnwood, and we're always glad to build new connections.
